How The Barking Barber of Stratford came to be..
Dogs are my passion! I have always had my own dogs and decided to train as a dog groomer initially, with the intention of grooming my own dogs at home. It didn't take me very long at all to realise how much I enjoy grooming and so I decided to embark on a more permanent career. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, as well as a Canine First Aid Qualification.

At The Barking Barber of Stratford, our sole aim is to give each dog the best grooming experience possible, tailor made to their specific needs and delivered in a calm, nurturing environment. I believe that a gentle approach always works best and helps to ensure that your fur baby will look forward to their grooming experience in the future. Their happiness and care is my priority and I strive to provide a service I would want my own pets to receive.
We're really conveniently located!
Come and find us in the Shopping Courtyard at the Stratford Garden Centre, next door to the Wag & Woof Pet Shop. All our customers enjoy the benefit of free parking and there is a variety of lovely shops to browse in whilst you wait for your dog to be groomed. Have a coffee and a bite to eat at The Lime Tree Café, or make it a family day of pampering and book yourself an appointment at The Hair Shack, or Taylor Made Nails.
